On Dec. 23, 2009, Fairey & Company will be closing permanently.

A BIG THANK-YOU to our valued customers and suppliers for the many years we’ve been honoured to have dealt with all of you. The decision to close has not been taken lightly nor made hastily. It is simply a very good opportunity for us to sell the business, that developed over a period of time and due to a variety of factors, could not be ignored. So, after 60 years of business and 3 generations of ownership, we are closing.

We are very pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement to sell all our business and products in the area of Mold-Making, Plaster and Related Casting Supplies to COAST FIBER-TEK.

From January 4, 2010 onward, Coast Fiber-Tek will become the B.C. distributors for both SMOOTH-ON and U.S. GYPSUM products. Having dealt with Coast Fiber-Tek for many years, we can personally attest to their high standards of service and business ethics. Like ourselves, Coast Fiber-Tek are locally owned and operated. The principal owner, Rick Jarnell, works daily in the business, alongside a knowledgeable staff.
